Ons huis is rustig gelegen net buiten het centrum van Maastricht aan de voet van de St. Pietersberg
en vlak bij de Maas. Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Lopend bent u binnen tien minuten in het
centrum, maar er zijn ook fietsen waar u gebruik van kunt maken.De kamers zijn ruim en rustig met comfortabele boxspringbedden, tv en internetaansluiting (u kunt uw laptop dus meebrengen). Beide kamers hebben een badkamer en suite met bad/douche/wastafel en wc. U kunt koffie en thee zetten op uw kamer en op de afdeling staat een koelkast en een oven. Ontbijt wordt niet geserveerd, maar om de hoek is een warme bakker en een supermarkt... en u krijgt een fiets om de stad en de omgeving te verkennen. Maastricht is een historische stad die veel te bieden heeft op het gebied van kunst en cultuur. Er zijn uitstekende restaurants, prachtige winkels en gezellige terrassen, en in de omgeving kunt u heerlijk wandelen en fietsen. De stad bezit verschillende musea waaronder het Bonnefanten, prachtige kerken, een mooie oude binnenstad en een congrescentrum waar verschillende beurzen worden gehouden. Het mooie Limburgse Heuvelland begint zodra u de Maas oversteekt, Belgie met de Voerstreek en de Ardennen ligt twee kilometer stroomopwaarts, binnen een uur bent u in Brussel of Antwerpen en Aken (Duitsland) ligt op 25 kilometer afstand. Our art deco house is located just outside the old city center of Maastricht (a ten minute walk, but you get a bike too)
in a nice residential neighbourhood at the foot of Holland's only 'mountain' the St. Pietersberg and close to the river.Free parking space is available. We've got two quiet and spacious rooms with comfortable boxspringbeds and duvets, private adjoining bathrooms (bath/shower/wash basin/toilet) television, access to the internet (so bring your laptop) coffee and tea making facilities, a shared refrigerator and microwave oven to cater to your needs. Breakfast is not served, but there is a bakery and a supermarket one block away... plus there is a bike for each guest to explore the city of Maastricht and the beautiful countryside. You will enjoy the best of both worlds: a quiet peaceful living environment with city life just around the corner. Maastricht is a historic city which has a lot to offer in terms of culture and art. There are many fine shops, restaurants and outdoor café's and the area is perfect for hiking and bicycling. Maastricht has got several musea, roman and gothic churches, a nice old city center with a maze of cobble stone streets and a congresscenter where many fairs, exhibitions and concerts are being held. Limburg's countryside with it's beautiful hills and magnificent views starts as soon as you cross the river. Belgium is two kilometres away, Brussels and Antwerp are a one hour drive and Aachen (Germany) is only 25 kilometres. Bed and Breakfast Alberti |
