De boerenwoning ligt aan de rand van een groot bos en kijkt uit over de weilanden aan de voorkant, dichtbij de abdij van Berne. Vanuit de boerderij gaan verschillende wandelroutes en fietsroutes en ruiterpaden. De locatie is uitstekend geschikt voor natuurliefhebbers die van rust houden. Heeswijk-Dinther ligt vrij centraal voor bezoekjes in Brabant maar ook naar het buitenland met 40 minuten rijden naar België of Duitsland.

Accomodatie: Uw kamers zijn in een apart gedeelte van de boerderij met een eigen ingang, met een aparte tuin. Er is een woonkeuken met gasfornuis/oven, koelkast, magnetron, afwasmachine en kabeltelevisie. De slaapkamer heeft een dubbelbed en een bedsteebed. Er is een aparte douche en toilet aanwezig, en parkeergelegenheid voor uw auto.

Omgeving: Het dorp Heeswijk ligt op 3 kilometer afstand en heeft alle winkels zoals twee supermarkten een slager, bakker, drogist etc. Ongeveer 20 minuten fietsen van ons vandaan vindt u kasteel Heeswijk wat zeker een bezoek waard is. De Brabantse hoofdstad 's-Hertogenbosch is per bus bereikbaar of per auto ongeveer 20 minuten rijden en is erg gezellig om een dagje te gaan winkelen en een bezoekje aan de Kathedraal is aan te raden! Dan heb je de Efteling, een park voor jong en oud, zeker het mooiste themapark van Europa en is ook 20 minuten van ons vandaan.

The accomodation is beautifully situated on the edge of the woods with a view at the front over the fields to the ancient abbey of Bern. Step out of our proprerty and you step into a nature reserve with many paths for walking, cycling and horse riding. This location is ideal for those who enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. What’s more it’s also ideally located centrally for touring Holland. Amsterdam is an hour on by train, or travel to the Dutch coast. It’s just half an hour by train to Utrecht, Breda and Eindhoven. Plus, in forty minutes by car you can be in Belguim or Germany.

Your Hosts Dave (an Englishman) and Yvonne (a German and French speaking Dutch woman) will help make your stay pleasant and language won’t be a problem.

Accommodation: Your rooms are in a separate part of the house with your own entrance and your own private garden with a lawn, patio and table & chairs. There is a kitchen/ living room with full cooking facilities, fridge, microwave, dish washer and cable tv. The bedroom has a double and a single bed. You have your own shower and toilet. Plus, there are parking facilities.

Surroundings: The immediate vicinity is ideal for country pastimes such as walking, cycling, fishing and horse riding (with three riding schools close by). The village of Heeswijk-Dinther is 2 kilometres away with shops and a market. The picturesque town of Den Bosch is only 15 kilometres and should be considered a must visit place. A twenty minute cycle ride through the woods will bring you to the medival castle of Hesswijk. The beautiful gardens and original furnishings make this a popular place for tourists. For those with children the famous Efteling theme park is only 20 minutes away, and is one of the largest and most tasteful in Europe.
